Daniel Leslie grew up in Oregon and at age 17 moved to Washington. As a young boy Daniel developed his jewelry making abilities by tinkering in his parents garage. He hand made small knives, swords, bows and arrows on both a miniature and functional scale. He was intrigued with proportion, scale and symmetry. At the age of 18 Daniel took a silversmith class at Bothell high school and subsequently got a job at the House of Turquoise as a bench jeweler in 1975, and became a self taught goldsmith. Since then Daniel has compiled over 35 years of hand made jewelry design and sculpture. He has worked with every medium of jewelry, he has designed nearly every style of jewelry from animal art to couture designs and has an obvious artistic gift on loan from God.
